Water Blocking Tape
Semi-conductive Water Blocking Tape

Construction:-
- It is a non-woven double layer sandwiched type semi-conductive tape coated with high quality super absorbent polymer (SAP) in between.
End Use Applications:-
- Used in power cables to prevent / blocking the progression of water entering the power cables as it swells quickly in contact with the moisture ingress and expands to fill up the interstices.
- Used for axial (longitudinal) and radial water blocking of power cables.
- Suitable for use on insulation screen and under & over the metallic sheath of MV & EHV Power Cables.
- These tapes are also available with specific technical requirements.
